The South Mansfield College (SMC) community is beaming with pride as our very own Royals have reached the pinnacle of global digital storytelling! After seven years of consistent excellence, our team of 12 dedicated students has officially brought home the Platinum Award—the highest possible honor—in the International Schools CyberFair 2026.

This isn’t just a win for the school; it’s a historic “seven-peat” that proves when we work together across grade levels, SMC can take on the world.

Under the tireless leadership of Ms. Maria Cristina Molera-Reynera, our team showcased the true spirit of a “collaborative powerhouse.” Comprising students from Grade 5 all the way to Grade 11, this win highlights the unique synergy at SMC. Our seniors provided the technical mentorship, while our younger students brought a fresh, vibrant energy to the project, proving that teamwork truly knows no age limit.

For this year’s entry, our team chose to spotlight a cause close to home: The Muntinlupa City Bulilit and Teen Health Workers (BTHW).

Through our web-based exhibit, we wanted to share how this incredible youth organization empowers young leaders to make a real-world impact. Our project focused on three key pillars:

  • Future Leaders in Health: Showcasing how the BTHW prepares the next generation of medical professionals.
  • Community Heart: Highlighting the vital link between local government health programs and the families of Muntinlupa.
  • Real-World Learning: Documenting the leadership and professional skills gained through hands-on service.

For 31 years, Global SchoolNet has challenged students worldwide to strengthen their communities through digital storytelling. Having won awards for seven consecutive years, moving from Gold to the elusive Platinum is a testament to the growth, grit, and digital literacy of our students.

By documenting the impact of the Bulilit and Teen Health Workers, our 12 ambassadors didn’t just create a website, they shared the heart of Muntinlupa with an international audience.
