Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) has received accreditation for the maximum allowable duration of six years from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). WASC is the regional accrediting commission for schools in California, Hawaii, the Pacific Islands, and Asia. Its mission is to assure schools meet the standards of quality education while fostering continual improvement.

Early this year, SISC hosted a visiting evaluation team from WASC composed of administrators and teachers from different parts of the world. They spent the week exploring every aspect of school life from meeting the members of SISC’s management team, teachers, staff, students, and even parents, to observing classes. The visiting committee then prepared a report, detailing its recommendations for accreditation.

The WASC re-accreditation ensures that SISC had been reviewed and critiqued to provide the highest-quality education to its students, and that it is recognized internationally as a distinguished school. The globally recognized benchmark guarantees that SISC adheres to international standards and practices, and meets the global needs of its students so they can compete successfully in the international arena.
